Their annual celebration provides an opportunity to reach Expect Miracles’ goals, through an event “dedicated to uplifting spirits, promoting positivity, and changing lives,” with the goal of raising $250.000 for those in need. The Challenge The event had previously been held in person, but due to the pandemic, the Expect Miracles Foundation team shifted their priorities to hiring a video production crew. They needed to find one that specialized in engaging, entertaining virtual video content for the attendees to immerse and enjoy from the comfort of their homes. Samfund’s founder, Samantha Watson, connected with them to host the event in 2020. After a successful launch with an exceptional number of guests, attendees, and money raised, she reached out to them to work on their second virtual event in 2021 The Results During the fall of 2021, the toldright team, producer Steve Becker, Sam Watson and her team at Samfund worked together to build an impressive hour-long broadcast. They shared emotional and inspiring experiences through storytelling, testimonials, and an interview. Pre-show, Samfund provided a VIP platform for different Zoom breakout rooms that covered special topics, such as business leadership, wine tasting, and more. As a result, there were over 300 live viewers and high levels of engagement. Toldright integrated new features from the previous year, which accelerated the levels of interaction and donor support. The event succeeded in raising a 12% increase in revenue per registrant, with incredibly positive feedback from the audience to guide the next events.
