Director, The Neighborhood

Position: Full Time

At toldright, we believe that every organization should be able to express their brand values and tell
original stories through video. Our award-winning team features industry professionals with extensive
experience in network, agency, and sports & entertainment content creation. We have built a
community of skilled independent creators who can ensure a quality product every step of the way.
These creators are known as the toldright Neighborhood.

Director, the Neighborhood will be responsible for ensuring success on a variety of levels. This person
will be an integral member of a small team working internally and externally with our Neighborhood of
creatives. This role requires a background in content creation, as well as experience managing multiple
projects at a time. This person must have a strong desire to work collaboratively, but also have the
capabilities to be a self-starter and solve problems independently. They will have outstanding
interpersonal and communication skills – gaining an understanding of requests, anticipating needs,
setting expectations, and clearly communicating feedback. They will have the ability to establish strong
working relationships with both clients and internal team members teams, while managing multiple
work-streams with competing priorities. We encourage independent thinking for problem solving. This
role will report to the Head of the Neighborhood and will work closely with toldright’s Neighborhood of
creators, Client Services and Sales teams.

Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with internal sales team to build project budgets based on client needs
  • Manage production schedules & budgets on assigned projects
  • Help internal team vet and approve creatives for the Neighborhood
  • Work with Executive Producer and Neighborhood creators to determine the most efficient
    execution of events/projects/productions
  • Organize Neighborhood operations and staff projects
  • Work closely with team to meet approved milestones
  • Be willing to communicate with clients as needed
  • Help establish future workflows with content strategy and efficiency initiatives

Qualifications

– Bachelor’s degree, required
– 7+ years of relevant work experience and/or equivalent combination of education and
experience (must include experience in video production environment)
– Understand production costs and budgeting projects
– Proven experience in project management, as well as an understanding of content and/or video
production
– Experience with live streaming a plus
– Ability to work within tight timelines in a dynamic environment
– Ability to think creatively to solve issues
– Demonstrate ability to run projects and ability to organize and handle multiple priorities
– Excellent organization, planning and communication skills
– Ability to work independently
– Strong problem-solving and ability to think strategically
– Proactivity encouraged
– Possess a strong proficiency of Microsoft Office
